I am a tenured Professor of English in Marin, California, where I teach literature, composition, critical thinking, and gender studies. I earned my PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing my passion for teaching, texts, and technology in person and online for over 35 years. I have been an educational consultant throughout my career, working closely with academically gifted and talented students. I homeschooled my daughter, who graduated from MIT with a SB in Physics and then studied at the University of Cambridge as a 2020-2022 Marshall Scholar, pursuing an MPhil in Astronomy and Theoretical Physics. Next, she attended Cardiff University to complete an MPhil in Physics, before pursuing her PhD in Physics at Caltech.
I help clients plan and document their accomplishments, informing them about opportunities, programs, and resources. I focus on academic, employment, and personal advancement, while assisting students, artists, professionals, and homeschoolers with writing for success. I am an educational consultant who tackles your writing jobs!
When I am not working as an educational consultant or teaching at College of Marin and Dominican University, I enjoy adventures with my family, playing fetch with our dog, and glassblowing.
